How can alumni learn to use OrangeLink?
Workshops are offered periodically by the Center for Career Services and members of the Career Services Network. If they live near enough to Syracuse, alumni are welcome to attend. Checking the Calendar of Events on this site will alert alumni to programs already scheduled.
Individual assistance can always be obtained by visiting the Center (235 Schine Center) or by contacting Jackie Shiel, our Recruiting Assistant, at 315 443-9093 or by email.
Following the instructions provided by our Quick Start Guide will initiate alumni to many of its features.
Why should alumni use OrangeLink after their years at SU?
Aside from the obvious benefits of access to the items above, OrangeLink also facilitates the career advising that occurs across the Career Services Network. Career services professionals can track their involvements with alumni, examine their resumes online, connect them to additional university resources, and take a more proactive outreach effort toward them. OrangeLink provides a beneficial complement to the specific assistance and activities that are provided in the college-based career offices and in the all-university offices of the Network.
When should alumni connect with OrangeLink?
Ideally, recent alumni should already be familiar with OrangeLink, formerly eRecruiting, but those unfamiliar with it should begin using it immediately.
