INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS (ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT POLICY):

PATH: An international, nonprofit organization that creates sustainable, culturally relevant solutions, enabling communities worldwide to break longstanding cycles of poor health. By collaborating with diverse public- and private-sector partners, PATH helps to provide appropriate health technologies and strategies.

The International Monetary Fund: The IMF is an organization of 184 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty.

The World Bank Group: The World Bank is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world.

The United Nations - Economic and social development segment: The UN system works in a variety of ways to promote economic and social goals. The mandates of the specialized agencies cover virtually all areas of economic and social endeavors. The agencies provide technical assistance and other forms of practical help to countries around the world.

The World Trade Organization: The WTO is the only global international organization dealing with the rules of trade between nations.
