Assistance with Pre- Professional Associations
Working together, faculty and staff, and the Center for Career
Services, can ensure that Syracuse University students explore
and gain exposure to as many career opportunities as possible,
and that they are prepared to present themselves effectively as
candidates for important positions.
If you advise a student chapter of a professional
association, then we are happy to partner with you to achieve
the goals of the association.
Programming. Center career consultants are ready
to visit or host association meetings to present programs on topics
such as career decision making, employment trends and issues,
resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, networking, and
other career and job search-related concerns.
Connections. Valuable connections
to employers and alumni may be achieved through our office. We
maintain hundreds of employer contacts in many industries and
settings. Our Mentor@SU alumni network includes 1500 alumni who
have volunteered to help students explore careers, employers,
and opportunities.
