GRADUATE SCHOOL RANKINGS

It is quite natural for aspiring students to wish to know how a given program compares with similar programs. Since rankings depend somewhat on who has been surveyed and what critieria have been used, and such rankings usually profile "top" schools and may not include perfectly respectable schools and programs, students should certainly

+ add their own personal criteria to determine which schools and programs may be best fits for their interests and aspirations
+ discuss these matters with an informed counselor
+ network with professional in their field and alumni of various schools

Sites with information about rankings include:

U.S. News - 2009 Grad School Rankings.
Part of a site featuring various types of information on education and careers.
