Student Advisors to the Employer Partner Program

The Syracuse University Employer Partner Program recognizes organizations that are highly involved on campus and that support the career development initiatives of the University. Partner employers participate consistently in career fairs, workshops and presentations, and career education events, as well as on-campus recruiting. They hire students from a variety of academic backgrounds, and their practices demonstrate a commitment to diversity. In addition, their SU alumni employees assist current students through mentoring and networking resources.

These employers value the input of students. Hence, we invite interested students from all programs and levels of study to consider a role as an advisor to this group of employers. In collaboration with other student advisors, university career services professionals, and employers, student advisors will assist in the planning of career-related events designed to address specific career topics of interest to the campus community,and will provide that all-important student perspective that helps employers connect to this generation of students and young professionals.
