The Co-curricular Fee is an initiative by the Division of Student Affairs to enhance the co-curricular, out-of-class experience for students by expanding the resources available to respond to student requests and identified needs. Specifically, the Co-curricular Fee was designed to improve the academic and social culture of the campus; increase alternative social and recreational activities; and promote opportunities for intellectual engagement. During 2006-2007, this fee funded initiatives such as club sports, Light Work/Community Darkrooms, grants for diverse programming, on-campus residence-based programming, student professional organizations, recreational opportunities at Drumlins, campus safety programs, outdoor education, and leadership development programs.
