while enjoying nature

providing a free campus venue for students or recognized student organizations to perform, enhance, and
refine their talents in front of a live audience

supporting professionally affiliated student organizations at various schools and colleges

providing students with opportunities outside of the classroom to attend and participate in programs,
performances, exhibitions, and events in the visual and performing arts

subsidizing the cost of unanticipated expenses incurred to maintain safe surroundings on campus and
for events

providing funding to support social and educational programming opportunities throughout the residential communities

subsidizing the cost of event ticketing services provided to students thus reducing overhead costs charged
to recognized student organizations

providing grant funding to support events, symposia, workshops, exhibits, lectures and performances to
educate students on an established theme of institutional or social significance

building new programs and rejuvenating existing events to enhance the undergraduate college experience
by creating a long-lasting alliance to the University and instilling a sense of S.U. pride

collaborating with Student Association and Academic Affairs to provide free daily editions of USA Today
and the New York Times as a national news reference for students

promotes healthy sexuality/relationships, examines gender roles, provides suggestions for risk reduction,
advises students of available resources, explores what each of us can do to end sexual violence; educates
students about alcohol and other drug use consequences through intentional, interactive programs
