SU Literacy Corps Council

The SU Literacy Corps Council, created during the fall of 2000, was designed to develop student leaders within the Literacy Corps Program. The Corp Council is a group of tutors who assist in the leadership and administration of the Literacy Corps. Members are selected via an application process and the size of the group varies depending on applicants’ leadership experiences. Members of the Corps Council assist with recruitment, training and implementation process of new tutors, as well as participate in special events such as the Success by Six Children’s Book Fest, Comstock KidFest and fund raising events for First Book-Syracuse University.
