ACC 478/778 (3) Taxation of Partnerships and Corporations

Course Description: Federal taxation with respect to transfer of property to corporations, corporate operations, and distributions, liquidation’s, reorganizations, subchapter S corporations, and special taxes; formation, operation, and liquidation of partnerships and their federal income tax effects on partners. Extra work required of grad. students. Students assist local businesses in tax return prep.

Course Description: Application of various research methods to marketing. Planning, design, execution, and interpretation of applied marketing research studies. Prereq: MAR 355, MAS 262 or permission of instructor; junior standing.


MAR 455 (3) Marketing Communications

Course Description: Managerial aspects of marketing communications. Determining promotion budgets, planning and building promotional programs and campaigns, evaluating promotional effectiveness, scheduling and controlling promotional impact, and coordinating information flows to and from intermediaries and other marketing institutions. Prereq: MAR 355, junior standing.


MAR 754 (3) Seminar in Marketing Research

Course Description: Collection, analysis, and interpretation of data. Problem definition, questionnaire design, attitude measurement, data analysis, and demand forecasting. For those interested in conducting marketing research or using research information for marketing decision making. Prereq: MBC 636, 638, or permission of instructor.
