SU Volunteer Organization - SUVO

The Syracuse University Volunteer Organization (SUVO) is a recognized student organization that recruits SU students to volunteer in the Syracuse community by providing placement information on local agencies serving as a resource for student groups and organizations interested in planning Holiday and/or special events with outside agencies. Please check the Calendar of Events on a regular basis for updated information.

Dome Donation Day
SUVO organizes individual students, students groups and student organizations to help man barrels for The Salvation Army canned food drive each fall during a home football game. Food collected at Dome Day is distributed to families during the Holiday Season.

Comstock Kidfest
Comstock Kidfest brings together more than 500 children from community agencies and over 30+ Syracuse University students, groups, and organizations for an afternoon fun-filled carnival at Manley Field House during the spring semester.
Holiday Parties
During the fall semester, SUVO helps organize holiday parties for students interested in planning or assisting with holiday parties at local schools and community based organizations.
