Welcome to the Phi Gamma Chapter Web Site
Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York. Chartered November 17, 1871 as the first fraternity at Syracuse. The chapter had its origins with a group at Genesee College in Lima, New York, which preceded Syracuse. The charter was granted to a group that had been part of the Pen and Scroll Chapter of the Mystic Seven, a fraternity that merged with Beta Theta Pi in 1890.

Summer 2008: Chapter President, Brother Ryan Rodger Loomis became a 2nd Lieutenate in the Marines Officers' Training Corps (MOTC).
June 2008: Brother Jason Christopher Yeadon'09 and teammate Lauren Baldesarra '09, communications design majors in the College of Visual and Performing Arts' (VPA) School of Art and Design, have won the first place and best in show awards of the Walt Disney Imagineering ImagiNations design competition. The annual ImagiNations competition is a program designed and sponsored by Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative arm of all Disney parks and resorts worldwide, to encourage university students to consider careers in creative and technical fields, including digital arts, engineering and next-generation interactivity. April 2008: Whitman School of Management undergraduate student Brother Greg Ackerman and his teammates traveled to Nebraska April 10-12 and came home victorious, winning first place for their business concept "BSApp" at the 21st Annual New Ventures World Competition, hosted by the University of Nebraska.
