Emergency
In the case of an emergency:
- On campus: dial 711 from any campus or pay telephone
- Off campus: dial 443-4299 or Onondaga County 911
- On a cell phone; dial #SU (#78) in the campus area
When calling for assistance:
- Remain calm and give the dispatcher your location, nature of the emergency, and the number you are calling from.
- Do not hang up. The dispatcher will give you instructions on what to do until help arrives.
- Be prepared to direct responders to the incident location. This may include watching for vehicles arriving in a courtyard or waiting near an elevator.
Do not jeopardize the health of you or a friend because you are concerned about the consequences of having broken the University Code of Student Conduct for alcohol and other drug use. Your responsible decisions and actions will be recognized by University staff, and you may save a life.
