Immunization Services

A wide variety of vaccinations are available at SUHS including hepatitis A and B, measles-mumps-rubella, tetanus, polio, meningococcus, HPV (Gardasil), and varicella. A campus-wide campaign is conducted each fall to encourage influenza vaccination.

Under guidelines established by New York State Public Health Law, Syracuse University policy requires all students to provide:

  • Proof of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella.
  • A completed response form related to meningococcal meningitis vaccine indicating that the student has received and reviewed related information, and that he or she has either been immunized within the preceding ten years or has opted not to obtain immunization against meningococcal disease.

Not sure what vaccines you need? Complete this brief vaccine quiz to learn which you should get. Speak with your medical provider if you have questions.
