What are the University Judicial Board and the University Appeals Board, and where can I get an application for them?

The University Judicial Board hears cases of alleged violations of the Code of Student Conduct filed against individual students or student organizations, except cases of academic dishonesty. The University Judicial Board may impose sanctions up to and including expulsion from the University and may design educational and/or remedial sanctions appropriate to a given case. The Associate Vice President and Dean of Students and the Director of Judicial Affairs appoints University Judicial Board members. The University Appeals Board hears appeals of decisions of any lower non-academic judicial board or hearing officer. The University Appeals Board may change lower judicial decisions, alter sanctions up or down, or return cases to the respective lower board for further process. The University Appeals Board may impose sanctions up to and including expulsion from the University and may design educational and/or remedial sanctions appropriate to a given case. The Senior Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs and the Associate Vice President and Dean of Students appoints members of the University Appeals Board.
