OUR MISSION
Quote from our Constitution:
"La L.U.C.H.A. stands for the unification of the Latino culture for the enlightenment and understanding through empowerment and education."
We stand to educate ourselves as well as others about what it truly means to be Latino. We work towards building an empowered and united community of people by maintaining our culture, by serving our community, and by promoting changes that will lead to the betterment of Latinos. We are also committed to luchando against the ignorant forces that seek to strip us of our identity as a people.

ACTING ON OUR MISSION
La L.U.C.H.A. holds general meetings biweekly to educate the Syracuse University community about issues pertinent to Latinos, and even issues that affect all underrepresented groups. Our newsletter, La Voz, is a vehicle for the creative expression of the various views Latinos have. La L.U.C.H.A. continues to come up with enlightening programs and community service programs. We also strive to excel in many areas.
