On April 27, 1991 at 2:30 AM, six strong, dedicated men crossed into the first Latino fraternal order to be recognized by Syracuse University. Since then La Unidad Latina has made its presence felt both on campus and in the city of Syracuse.
Now the standards that the 43 Theta Chapter Hermanos have set throughout the years have been raised and met. Theta Chapter alumni have gone on to pursue careers in law, investment banking, engineering, entertainment, computer programming, fashion design, social work, and physical therapy.
Honors such as the 2006 NALFO Fraternity of the Year Award are among few of the many achievements. Alumni from Theta Chapter have had a high success rate ranging in professions such as financial analysts, computer programmers, lawyers, social workers, promoters, entrepreneurs, and many more professions.
