Scholarship
Scholarship, academics and grades are the mainstays of college life, and the sororities at Syracuse University recognize the importance of directing students into special scholarship programs.
Each of the sorority chapters has a minimum grade requirement for joining and initiation, as well as, Panhellenic's specific grade point average requirement to participate in recruitment.
Each year a Scholarship Reception is held in the Spring which recognizes greek women who achieved a Grade Point Average of 3.7 or higher for the Fall academic semester, with special recognition given to women acheiving a 4.0 GPA.
The women's averages for undergraduates at Syracuse University for the Fall 2007 semester are as follows:
All-Women's Averages 3.27
All-Sorority Women 3.33
All Non-Sorority Women 3.22
