Any team knowing in advance that they will be unable to play a regularly scheduled contest is provided the opportunity to default the game and not play. This will result in a Sporting Behavior of 3 instead of 0, preserving playoff eligibility. In order for the contest to be considered a default, the team captain must complete this form at least 4 hours before the game. Once the form is submitted, the default is final.
