Syracuse Welcome 2022 - Orientation Registration

Welcome to Syracuse University! As part of your Becoming Orange journey, we are excited to host an in-person orientation experience for all of our first-year and transfer students! Syracuse University's orientation program is known as "Syracuse Welcome."

Syracuse Welcome begins on August 25 and will have required programming through August 28. We will also host optional programming beginning the day you move into your residence hall.

This registration form helps us know more about who is coming and will allow you to opt-in for some of the optional experiences during Syracuse Welcome.

Syracuse Welcome Small Groups

This is an optional opportunity to engage and connect with other first-year and transfer students during Syracuse Welcome. These are led by Orientation Leaders. These small groups are not associated with any academic program and are designed to support your transition to Syracuse University and meet students that you may not typically interact with outside of your major or residence hall. Small groups will meet during Syracuse Welcome (Aug. 25-27, 2022).

You may also choose to share information that could place you in identity-specific small groups. If none apply to you or if none interest you, please select "place me in a general interest small group" and you will be assigned to non-specific small groups.

Limited to the first 1000 students. The deadline to opt-in is July 15, 2022.
